8, 2
Do not pray as the hypocrites do, but as the Lord commanded in His gospel, you
shall pray thus: Our Father who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name. Thy
kingdom come, thy will be done on earth, as it is in heaven. Give us this day our
daily bread, and forgive us our debts, as we also forgive our debtors. And lead us
not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. For thine is the power and the glory
forever. Pray thus three times a day.
9, 1
Let no one eat or drink of the Eucharist with you except those who have been
baptized in the name of the Lord; for it was in reference to this that the Lord said:
do not give that which is holy to dogs.
14, 1
Assemble on the Lords day, and break bread and offer the Eucharist; But first
make confession of your faults, so that your sacrifice may be a pure one...For this
is the offering of which the Lord has said, Everywhere and always bring me a
sacrifice that is undefiled, for I am a great king, says the Lord and my name is the
wonder of nations (Mal. 1, 11,...).
16, 3
then will appear the deceiver of the world as a Son of God. He will work signs
and wonders and the world will be given over into his hands. He will do such
wicked deeds as have not been done since the world began
And then will appear
the signs of the truth. First, the sign spread out in the heavens; second, the sign of
the sound of the trumpet; the third, the resurrection of the dead. Not the
resurrection of all men, but as it was said: The Lord will come, and all His saints
with Him. Then the world will see the Lord coming on the clouds of heaven.
